Training: Saving Comments to Contact Profiles
Ever come across a comment on a Post in Facebook™ that you want to save and refer back to?
GroupTrack can save the content of the comment, along with a permalink directly to it, inside the CRM's Activity Feed.
Steps
- First, make sure the Contact to which you want to save the comment is loaded in the GroupTrack Sidebar by hovering over their name. This is usually the author of the comment, but could be anybody.
- Click the "3-dot" icon to the right of the comment.
- In the menu, you'll see GroupTrack's icon and an option to "Save Comment to [name of loaded Contact]'s Profile" (the name will reflect whoever is loaded in the sidebar).
- If no one is loaded in the sidebar, or the loaded Contact has not been added to GroupTrack yet, the option will read "Load a Contact to Save Comment".
- After clicking the menu option, it will switch to "Comment Saved", and the comment text will be available in the Global Activity Feed for that Contact
