Troubleshoot: Contacts in GroupTrack are still showing Add to GroupTrack

If you are noticing that you have added contacts to GroupTrack previously, but those same contacts are still displaying "add to GroupTrack" while in Facebook or Messenger, we have good news! There is now a self-serve fix accessible within your GroupTrack webapp!

1. Click on your name in the top right corner of your webapp and then click Profile & Notifications.

2. Scroll down below the Task Notification Settings and look for the green Troubleshooting button. Click it and then select "Fix issue where contacts are in GroupTrack but still showing Add to GroupTrack"

For the inquiring minds who want to know, this button goes back through all your previously added contacts and checks to verify that the saved Facebook ID for each contact is correct, and fixes it if the incorrect ID was added (such as for users who were seeing the wrong FB URL on the wrong contact name). Since this process is combing thru each of your contacts, it may take a few moments to run so please be patient. 

If, after running this fix and then refreshing your FB page, you are still seeing "Add to GroupTrack" under contacts who are already in GroupTrack, please submit a ticket with a Loom to [email protected] so the Support team can assist you.
