Troubleshoot: Why Doesn't My FB Group Member Count Match the Number of Pipeline Contacts

Some users notice that the number of members in their group on Facebook doesn't match exactly with the number of contacts listed in their pipeline within GroupTrack.

That can happen sometimes because FB includes invited members who haven't actually joined the group in the "member count" on FB, but running a bulk-add into GT will only add the actual members who have accepted the invite.

The member count on FB will also include accounts that are deactivated, which can mess up your numbers as well since GT cannot add a deactivated account into your GT account, but FB will still include them in the number of members.

Also keep in mind that if members leave your group, they may still be in GroupTrack until you remove them since FB doesn't send any sort of update that a member has left the group. This can make your numbers a little mismatched as well.

Unfortunately there is not (at this time) a way to run a check to verify or crosscheck the member list against GT and remove non-members, invitees, or unavailable accounts, but your numbers should be fairly close if you take FB Member Count minus Invitees minus Unavailable Accounts.
