Setup: How to Log Into the Extension

In order to use GroupTrack CRM in your social media sites to capture and manage leads, you will need to sign into the Chrome Extension. 

To do this, click on the GroupTrack icon to the right of your URL bar:

(Hint: If you do not see the icon, be sure you have installed the extension and then click the puzzle piece to the right of the URL bar. Click the thumbtack next to the GroupTrack CRM extension in the menu that opens to pin GroupTrack)

With the extension login page open, sign in with the same credentials or authentication method you used to sign into your webapp. This is very important, especially for team members. If you try to sign into the webapp with one set of credentials and into the extension with a different account, contacts will not sync correctly.

Once you are signed in, you can set your extension preferences by clicking on the Settings button:

Once you have your preferences set, be sure to click the green Save button in the lower right and then refresh the page for your settings to take effect:

Now that you are signed in, you should see the GroupTrack sidebar pop up on the right (default) or left (if you adjusted your preferences) of your window on applicable sites (social platforms such as Facebook or Instagram) as pictured below. You can hover over the green "i" on the sidebar to see the current status of your extension, as well as some information about the team you are on and the pipeline you are currently working in based on where you are within your social platform:

Congratulations! You're now signed into the extension and ready to start using GroupTrack CRM to add leads to your system.
