Introduction
Purpose
If GroupTrack CRM is running slowly, it’s often due to multitasking on your computer or resource-heavy browser activities. This document will guide you through steps to improve the performance of GroupTrack by optimizing your computer and browser settings.
Steps to Improve GroupTrack Performance
Step 1: Close Inactive Programs
- GroupTrack running slowly generally happens when your computer is multitasking with several programs open simultaneously.
- To improve performance, close any inactive programs or applications that are not currently in use.
Step 2: Manage Chrome Tabs and Extensions
- Chrome is known to be a resource hog: Close additional, inactive tabs in your web browser outside of the ones you need to run your GroupTrack-related activities.
- Turn off unnecessary Chrome extensions: Disable any extra extensions that are not required while using GroupTrack. This can free up resources and speed things up.
Step 3: Restart GroupTrack
- If neither of the above steps work, try the following:
- Log out of GroupTrack.
- Restart your computer.
- Log back into GroupTrack and try again.
Step 4: Optimize Pro Tier Features
- For Pro Tier Users:
- Bulk Messaging Queue: If you have the bulk messaging queue running (even while empty), this can cause a slight slowdown due to background processing. Pause the messaging queue if it’s empty to improve performance.
- Post Tracker Jobs on a Loop: Similarly, Post Tracker jobs set to run on a loop can slow things down. Temporarily stop any looped Post Tracker jobs while processing other tasks. Just remember to restart them later to continue your automations.
Why This Process is Important
Optimizing your computer and browser settings is essential for ensuring GroupTrack CRM runs smoothly. By closing unnecessary programs, managing Chrome tabs and extensions, and optimizing Pro Tier features, you can significantly improve the performance of GroupTrack.
