Introduction
Purpose
Tracking and managing Facebook group members in GroupTrack CRM is essential for nurturing relationships and maintaining organized pipelines. This guide will explain how to add new members to your pipeline, ensuring that you capture essential information and track their progress effectively.
What Are Facebook Group Members in GroupTrack?
Facebook group members in GroupTrack are individuals who join your group and are then tracked within the CRM. By adding them to your pipeline, you can manage interactions, follow up on membership questions, and move them through your sales or engagement process.
What You Can Do with Group Members in Your Pipeline
When you use GroupTrack CRM to add Facebook group members to your pipeline, you can:
- Capture and track membership questions when approving new members.
- Add existing members to your pipeline for ongoing management.
- Move members through various stages of your Prospecting Group Pipeline.
How to Add New Group Members
Step 1: Approve New Members into the Group and Pipeline
- Access the Member Request Page:
- Go to your Facebook group and navigate to the member request page to view pending join requests.
Step 2: Verify Pipeline Connection
- Check the GroupTrack Sidebar:
- Hover over the green "i" icon on the GroupTrack sidebar to ensure the group and pipeline connection is detected.
Note: If you do not see the correct group-attached pipeline, refresh the page and try again.
Important Reminder:
- Approving contacts without verifying the correct pipeline connection can lead to contacts being added to the wrong pipeline.
- Correction: You can use a bulk action to move them to the correct pipeline, but their membership questions will remain in the original pipeline. Manual copy/pasting of these questions between pipelines will be necessary if corrections are needed.
Step 3: Approve and Add Members to GroupTrack
- Approve Contacts in Bulk:
To approve all pending requests at once, click "Approve All and Add to GT" at the top of the page.
Approve Contacts Individually:
- Alternatively, you can approve and add each contact individually by clicking the "Approve and Add to GT" button next to their name.
Why This Process is Important
Approving and adding new group members to your pipeline allows you to capture membership question responses, which can be valuable for understanding member needs and tailoring your interactions. Properly managing the pipeline connection ensures that contacts are accurately tracked, facilitating smoother communication and follow-up.
