What Are Group-Connected Pipelines?
Connecting your group to a pipeline allows you to manage members by approving them into the pipeline, tracking their progress, and capturing valuable membership question responses. The following are the key ways to interact with a Group-Connected Pipeline:
- Approving New Members into the Group + Pipeline: Automatically captures membership question responses.
- Adding Existing Members to the Pipeline: Does not capture membership question responses.

How to Approve New Members and Capture Membership Question Responses
To ensure you capture membership question responses, you must approve new members into your Facebook group using GroupTrack CRM. Here’s how to do it:
Open Your Facebook Group
Navigate to the member request page of your Facebook group to see pending join requests.
Verify GroupTrack Detection
Hover over the green "i" icon on the GroupTrack sidebar to confirm that GroupTrack has properly detected your group and pipeline connection. If you don’t see the correct group-attached pipeline, refresh the page and try again.
Important: Approving members without confirming the correct pipeline can lead to contacts being added to the wrong pipeline. Their membership questions will be linked to the original pipeline they were approved into and cannot be automatically transferred. Manual copy/paste will be required to move membership questions between pipelines.
Approve New Members
You can approve new members in two ways:
- Bulk Approval: Click "Approve All and Add to GT" to approve multiple members at once.
- Individual Approval: Click "Approve and Add to GT" next to each member’s request to approve them individually.
- GroupTrack will automatically capture the membership question responses and sync them with the selected pipeline during the approval process.
