Training: Which Messenger URL to Use

To send messages using GroupTrack, you have an option to choose between using Facebook.com (preferred) or Messenger.com to send outbound messages.

The default is preferred and will open Messenger on the web at the URL www.facebook.com/messages.

If for some reason your browser will not allow you to view that page, or if it auto-redirects you to www.messenger.com instead, you will need to toggle this option over to "Messenger.com". If you do need to use Messenger.com, make sure you are signed in there by manually visiting the URL and verifying that you see your conversations.

To select your Messenger URL:

1. Open your Messages in the left menu bar, and then select the General Tab

2. Scroll down on the page and select the "Show Advanced Messaging Options" to expand the Messenger settings. Select your Messaging settings following the onscreen instructions
