How To: Set Up the Bulk Messaging Queue

The GroupTrack Message Queue is on the Pro tier only. This feature allows you to queue up messages to be sent out over time. This article will walk you through how to configure your bulk messaging queue for both Facebook and Instagram.

Introduction

Purpose

This help document guides you through the steps to set up and use the Bulk Messaging Queue feature in GroupTrack CRM, applicable for both Facebook and Instagram. The Bulk Messaging Queue allows you to send messages to multiple recipients efficiently while managing the pacing to avoid account issues.

Definitions

  • Bulk Messaging Queue: A feature in GroupTrack CRM that enables sending messages to multiple contacts in an automated, controlled manner.
  • Message Templates: Predefined messages saved in GroupTrack CRM, used for bulk sending.
  • Delay Between Messages: The pause duration between sending consecutive messages in the queue.
  • Maximum Messages per Day: The upper limit of messages that can be sent in a single day.
  • Pause After Failed Messages: The number of message send failures allowed before the queue pauses and requires manual restart.



Steps

  1. Open Web App
  2. Access Messaging Settings
    • Click on the "Settings" tab located on the left side panel and then select Queue Setup.

  1. Configure Bulk Messaging
    • Complete all configuration settings for both Facebook and Instagram (if applicable) before starting your queue:
      • Set Delay Between Messages: Choose a range for random delays between each sent message.
      • Configure Breaks: Set the duration and frequency for additional pauses during messaging.
      • Set Maximum Messages per Day: Define the daily limit for sent messages.
      • Set Pause After Failed Messages: Enter the number of failures allowed before the queue pauses.
      • Set Daily Start/End Hours: Specify the hours during which the queue will be active.
      • Click Save when you are done

** As a reminder, these settings are unique to each person. GroupTrack does not put you in Facebook or IG jail, you control how fast/slow your messages are sent.

  1. Start the Messaging Queue
    • After configuration, click "Start Messaging Queue." The page will refresh, and the queue will become active.
