Troubleshoot: Can't "Approve/Add to Group"

It seems that sometimes you will approve people into your group using GroupTrack and then all of a sudden it'll get "stuck" on someone. If this happens, just click REFRESH on Facebook and try again. That usually does the trick! 

If that does not work, please try the following:

  • Click on the name of the contact you are trying to add and make sure it is a valid profile. Sometimes accounts will request to join your group and then later become deactivate for one reason or another so GroupTrack cannot read the contact. If you determine the contact is invalid (usually resulting in a "this page is unavailable or cannot be found" style error when you click their profile), please decline the join request to clear out the bad contact and then try processing your approvals again.
  • If the contact IS valid but GroupTrack can't seem to process it or "bogs down," please begin a Loom screen recording (Loom.com), refresh your FB member request page, open the console, and then try your approval process again with the Loom running to record what's going on.
