If our helpdesk asks you to run the console while recording a Loom video to assist in troubleshooting an issue with GroupTrack CRM, this document will guide you through the necessary steps. Steps to Run the Console While Recording a Loom Video

Step 1: Navigate to the Problem Page

  • Navigate to the page where you are experiencing the issue (e.g., your Facebook profile, Group, or Business page).
  • Right-click on any open space on the page to open the Chrome menu.
  • Click “Inspect” at the bottom of the menu.

Step 2: Open the Console

  • This action will open a sidebar (usually on the right side of your screen) with a lot of technical code.
  • At the top of this sidebar, click the “Console” tab to access the console log.

Step 3: Record Your Loom Video

  • Start your Loom recording if you haven’t already.
  • Ensure you are sharing your entire screen so that our support team can see all the windows and information.
  • Attempt to complete the action that is causing the issue. The console will display any error messages or logs during this process, which will be captured in your recording.

Step 4: Send the Loom Video to Support

  • Once you’ve finished recording, copy the link to your Loom video.
  • Include the Loom link in an email to [email protected] so our team can review and assist you with the issue.
