Introduction

Purpose

This help document will help you better understand why your message may not have been delivered and what you can do about it. While message sending is typically seamless in GroupTrack CRM, platform changes or delays can occasionally cause issues that interrupt automations or manual sending.

Scope

This guide applies to all GroupTrack CRM users who send messages—whether manually or using the bulk messaging feature—on any supported platform (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).

What This Message Failure Means

GroupTrack sent the message… but didn’t get confirmation that it actually showed up in the conversation.

We waited 30 seconds to detect the message in the chat history—and saw nothing change. So instead of pushing forward and risking a bunch of unsent messages, we hit pause.

Translation:

We sent it, but Messenger gave us the silent treatment. And we don’t like guessing.

What you can do:

✅ Open Messenger and check the conversation

  • If the message did send, great! You’re good to go.
  • If it didn’t show up, go back to the contact in GroupTrack

➡️ Click Message and copy the message text

➡️ Manually paste and send it in Messenger

This one’s not always a fail—it’s more of a “we’re not sure” moment.

But better safe than sorry when it comes to your leads. 👌

Why This Process is Important

Understanding what caused a message to fail ensures you can take appropriate steps to follow up with your leads and avoid losing potential sales opportunities. Even when tech gets a little glitchy, GroupTrack is designed to give you full visibility and easy solutions to keep your pipeline moving forward.
